spam from contact form – how do I protect against this on a free wordpress site please?

  Hi, Please let me know how to stop spam messages from my contact from, thank you.

  Hi there!

  We already have spam filters in place to prevent this. What is the address of the site with the problem? Do these spam messages get to your email or do you only see them in My Site>Site>Feedback?

  Hi Fresatomica,

  Thanks for helping with this. The issue is I’m getting spam emails from a sender several times each day through the contact form on the site, I think. These come to my email address.

  Hi there,

  Start marking those as spam and eventually our anti-spam filter will start automatically remove them.

  Thanks – please, how do I mark them as spam? All I have is the emails coming into my email account – will your anti spam filter connect if I mark them from my personal email account as spam? Thank you again.

  Hi there,

  From your WordPress.com dashboard, go to Site > Feedback and there should be a red Spam link you can click to mark the contact as spam when you hover over it:
