Spam getting worse. Anything I can do?

    Lots of spam getting through the Akismet spam filter, which I manually tag. Dozens per day, and the number is growing (very few got though even a year ago). I don’t want to moderate comments. Anything else I can do?

    Hi there,

    We have indeed been having some issues with an influx of spam over the past couple of weeks. Our engineers are always working to improve Akismet, but they’re on overdrive to minimize the amount of spam which gets through. Hopefully you should see a reduction in spammy messages soon!
