Spam going to my readers

  Akismet isn’t catching all the spam to my site–from this especially: opiekunka osób starszych. Spam from whatever that is goes out to the readers of whatever post it’s attached to. How do I make it stop?

  Hi!

  I see a few comments from that particular user in your spam comments here:

  It looks like Akismet cleared the comment, which you can see under “Comment History” here:

  The only way this comment would have been sent out to your readers is if they were setup to receive new comment notifications as shown here:

  http://d.pr/i/1aHoG

  So, long story short, we need to make sure this isn’t approved in the future so it doesn’t get sent out!

  The best way to do this is to continually mark the comments as spam as it helps to train Akismet moving forward.

  Another way to combat this would be to tighten your Discussion Settings here:

  Particularly, you could select either of the two options under “Before a comment appears” to prevent this from happening.

  Lastly, you could place their email in the Comment Blacklist on that page as well.
