spam or invalid email address followin my site

  hello,
  i have noticed a spike in email addresses ending in @outlook.com following my site. the emails do not look legit.

  what is the reason?

  Hi!

  This issue has been identified by the WordPress.com team and a staff has issued an official comment about this here.

  They’re working on fixing this and I encourage you to subscribe to that thread for future updates.

  In the meantime, if you are uncomfortable with any of them following your site, you can remove your email followers on this page.
