Spam Overflow

  Hello

  Since July 2008 I am using wordpress.com. The All Time Spam was until today, 30. Sept 20,954. Until August 2011 Akismet was doing it s job quite fine.

  In Sept alone i had 14,428 Spam. I do not know why Akismet is not preventing this comments to enter my blog. I am deleting one by one all of them, but I rather prefer that Aksimet do this job for me. Have a look to my Akismet Stats and could see the flooding of Spam I am receiving

  We forum volunteers do not have access to your Dashboard.

  Since you basically copied and pasted your post from the Staff Forum with a few changes, perhaps you would like to follow up the advice from Evarlese and send in a report directly to Support

  I see that Akismet has blocked 2,184 spam comments for you so far. However, are you receiving hundreds of spam comments in your actual spam queue, accessible via your Dashboard -> Comments -> Spam?

  If so, would you mind opening a private ticket so we can take a closer look at these spammers?

  hello justjennifer

  i copy and pasted some parts because my english isn t that good. in my own words. from juli 2008 until august 2011 the total spam was 21027, in sept 2011 alone 14.501 . . .

  private ticket i tried but the email i got was not correct

  my egnlish isn t that good when it comes to technicel description of a problem. that s why i referred to the link of “Evarlese” because i have exactly the same problem.

  First of all, it is possible to receive help in the German forum, if that is more convenient for you http://de.forums.wordpress.com/

  Second, please use the link I gave above to access the contact form, and not the email link in Evarlese’s post

  well that s what i did – i asked for held in the german forum. but they couldn t help and gave me the advice to conteact the support here on wp.com.

  as a matter of fact i send the previous days 2 emails to the support of wordpress.com. exactly the way you described how the contact has to be made. after this “the 3rd contact” i received a first response.
