Spam, phishing or email from WordPress?

  I keep getting an Email from “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” asking me to verify my account, but I have already verified it twice following an initial email from WordPress.com when I opened the account. I am afraid to click on this email and it’s saying that if I don’t act on it, my blog may be suspended. Is this a legitimate email from your company?

  Thanks for checking with us. This is a new requirement for buying a domain name, and we’re working on making it seem less spammy.

  In addition to verifying your e-mail address with WordPress.com, please do click on that link as well. That’s from our domain provider who, per the rules that govern domain name purchases, have to verify themselves any e-mail address used for domain registration.

  I’m sorry for the confusion and please let me know if you have any other questions.
