Spam pop-up ads on phones

    A person on Twitter who had followed a link to my blog says they are getting spam pop up ads:
    “that blog post is bringing up a nasty loop of spammy pop up ads on my phone.”
    “full-screen scammy You’ve Won A Thing type stuff with nothing but an okay button. iPhone, safari.”
    “Only when visiting it via the twitter app! If I go there manually in Safari, it is behaving normally. So seems like something might be watching for twitter referrers specifically.”

    Hi there,

    I checked your blog and it’s not infected with malware ads. Can you please tell them to send us a screenshot of the ads they’re seeing as well as to check their phone with a malware scanner, in case they’re somehow infected.
