Spam stuff

I’ve been getting a lot of spam lately – all directed to a particular post. I can’t imagine why I keep getting them, nevertheless…Do these spams get included in my daily count of hits?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Spam page views should be filtered out, recently I have been getting more spam than regular page views

WordPress does filter them out, and I am grateful. But I do check from time to time, and they seem to come daily – all directed to a particular blog. Probably because it is an obscure subject and easy for them to find.
But my question is still: does it count in my page views?

And in looking at the stats, they are filtered out since some of the obscure images that receive high spam comments don’t show Page Views

Usually, if one post is getting hammered with spam it’s because there’s a comment on that post which is spam and hasn’t been deleted. Review the comments on that post.

However one of my images for a Sinuous Course Clock that get hammered with spam all the time has no comments at all –

One mo’ time… I took your advice (all) and deleted whatever appeared to be spam from my blog article, but I am STILL getting several spam comments a day. Same site. Just out of curiosity, (since I am such a computer DUD), what purpose do these spammers hope to accomplish?
