Spam Subscribers!

    My site is getting BOMBARDED with spam subscribers. Within less than a 24 hour period, I got over 800 subscribers to my site – all of which were spam.

    How to I keep them out?!

    This is a serious problem.

    Not only is it a nuisance, but I use Mailpoet and Optinmonster, where after a certain amount of subscribers I have to pay a fee.

    PLEASE HELP ASAP!

    Hi there,

    You are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. You don’t own any sites with us, nor do you have any sites connected to use using our subscription service via the Jetpack plugin.

    You’re using the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org, at another hosting provider, and the only people who can help you with this are the people who make the plugin you use to offer a subscription feature on your site. So please contact support for that plugin directly for help with this.
