spam – unable to delete

  A spam item has been caught by Akismet. I usually delete all spam on a daily basis. This one, however, will not be deleted. It simply immediately re-appears, and beneath the spam items, a red box appears saying ‘ You are not permitted to do this’!! Any ideas, please as to what this may be?

  As long as the spam comment doesn’t actually show up under a post you’re not drowning – you’re not even wetting your toes!
  There’s no need to delete the comments Akismet has caught: they eventually get deleted automatically.
