  My site is getting spammed with tons of comments. Do you know what I can do to stop this?

  I’m not showing any recent comments on reaganhistory.wordpress.com – is this the correct site? If not, can you let us know the URL of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

  Yes, that is the correct site. I have to approve all the comments, and so I’m getting dozens and dozens of requests a day to approve comments that read like this:

  Author: anthonyio18 (IP address: 109.70.100.30, tor-exit-anonymizer.appliedprivacy.net)
  Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  URL:
  Comment:
  Hot teen pics
   famous porn star pics free porn unblocked teacher porn porn free black gay porn the porn platoon

  With the URLs linked. (I took them out). I’m not approving them so no comments are posted. But I’m inundated with messages.

  Hello there,

  Many thanks for that additional information.

  All sites on WordPress.com are protected from by Akismet, which is a system that’s constantly learning on how to combat this kind of activity.

  There’s more information about this here: https://wordpress.com/support/comments/#unwanted-comments-and-comment-spam

  I’d recommend marking each of these comments as spam, to help with that.
