The same post “Does Bisexuality Exist?” keeps getting spammed. How do I stop the spam? Your spam configuration instructions are ambiguous!?

Our Akismet spam filters are in place to try and minimize the spam which gets through to your mailbox, however unfortunately some spam will get through, especially on some articles which are popular or fit certain criteria that spammers like.
The best thing you can do is to mark any spam that comes through as spam so that our filters have a chance to learn and update. This will help us catch more and keep future spammers out of your mailbox!

I can’t “mark” something as spam if it is already appearing in the spam queue! Either Akismet is NOT working or the same spam keeps getting through! Several times a day I am inundated with spam from the SAME person – BUT with different messages – for the same blog article”Does Bisexuality Exist?” that I noted in my complaint! I am tired of having to clear the spam queue. I also get spam from OTHER sources for the same blog article. Is there a way that I can filter this locally?

I see. If the messages are already ending up in the spam queue then Akismet is actually functioning normally and is capturing spam correctly, similarly to a spam filter in your email address.
