Spammed with "new website"

  I’ve received several emails congratulating me on my new website and my new blog posts. I did not start this, the link leads me to a foreign language site that is obviously spam. I have changed my password and emailed wordpress about the issue. Any other things I can do to rectify this and prevent future issues?

  Hmmm, thanks for that. I’ve suspended the site. You can delete it here:
  https://wordpress.com/settings

  I’d also recommend checking your email address here:
  https://haveibeenpwned.com/

  Especially if you use the same email and password for more than one service. I’m guessing someone gained access and created the site that way.
