spamming my email

  Yesterday alone I received almost 40 emails from wisegirl…..ALL offering a different name but same content, “you can get your name….” it is ridiculous! It’s been happening for the past week or so. I do not want to unsubscribe I don’t want to lose the blog notices I subscribed to…..but if it continues I won’t have choice. I’m willing to lose my own personal blog on this site to lose this spam bullshit. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

  Another 15 emails….’you can get your name like this…’ using a different girls name in topic then it’s shown in a banner with cartoon character and broken down by letters of the name. Annoyed!

  It looks like you’re currently subscribed to http://wisegirl.me/, which means you will receive a notification every time they post to their blog. There are two ways to solve this issue:

  1. You can unsubscribe from the blog completely from the following page:

     http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

     Just click the small “X” next to the Wise Girl blog

  2. You can have new posts display in your WordPress.com Reader but not be delivered through email. In order to do this, navigate to the page mentioned above and click “Edit” next to “Wise Girl”. Under “Send new posts by email”, select “Off”. You shouldn’t receive any new posts through email.
