  I am receiving increasing number of Outlook spam followers daily (at followingthegoldenthread.wordpress.com on WordPress). Yes, you are catching them, but I do receive an email each time one of these Outlook followers comes through. Today’s example:
  “(email visible only to moderators and staff) just started following you at http://followingthegoldenthread.wordpress.com.”

  I will be glad when you figure out how to block them entirely.

  I am having the same issue…I also posted on my blog and received no likes or comments like I always do…..When we get these spams do they block us from received comments from our true followers?

  I just made both of my blog sights private until this issue gets fixed….
