Special Character popup list contents have changed

  Hi,

  While I write in English, and have both Interface and Writing language set as such, (and always have), I occasionally use the special characters popout (mostly currency symbols and accented vowels).

  Just recently (<7 days) I noticed that (at least) the accented vowels have disappeared from the special character popout, to seemingly be replaced by cyrillic-type characters. The currency symbols are still present. I’ve made no changes on the backend in months.

  Looking for any assistance.

  I see (despite the title which didn’t seem to have any relevance to my problem) that there have been changes. The post requests feedback on any potentials problems that may be found, but not where to notify them. Two example areas given, of table formatting & image sizing, neither of which is my problem, and which would not seem relevant to anyone with the same problem doing a search. The image resizing issue is 13 pages long. Do I have to read every page to find if there’s anything relevant about the issue I have?

  Instead I posted a new thread (after doing a search) relevant to the actual problem.

  Thank you. I haven’t used it since the day I wrote this comment, and checking it now, it has reverted to the correct presentation and contents, as your screenshot also demonstrates. I did notice last week that the visible character didn’t agree with the content of every box. e.g. if I hovered over some cyrillic characters, the small hover description would be of the correct accented vowel. e.g a visible Cyrillic character might be a grave or acute i. This meant I could choose an accented character by hovering over the displayed characters until the hover box showed what I wanted. But this is also now no longer the case.
