Special Symbol Categories

  Hello,

  Is there a way to have categories that have special symbols in it? For example I want o create categories based on price. So I have $ and $$. I can create the categories. However I don’t think WordPress is differentiating between these two either when I try to find posts like it on my blog or use the widget for categories. I even tried to use the ascii code representation for the category name to no avail.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I don’t think you can include a special character inside a category title like that. I think they get stripped.

  And a quick look at the outputting source shows that it’s just characters.

  Hmm, I wonder what the issue was…
