  Hello, I am writing a travel blog and wanted to sell advertising specifically for travel. I had hoped I could do so through a widget that was not extremely commercial. Is this allowed on WP? How do I do this?

  WordPress.com doesn’t allow any user initiated advertising on WordPress.com. Selling ad space directly to specific businesses/organisations will get your blog suspended. However, the good news is there are still ways you can monetize your site:
