Specific change to header in K2-lite theme
-
I’m using K2-lite on wordpress.com (I haven’t upgraded to edit CSS — yet). In the header under my title is the phrase “just another wordpress.com blog”. I’d like to change that to add a subheader of my own choosing to the header. Is there a way to do this with the wordpress.com controls, such as using the “presentation” tab? Or am I going to have to overcome my irrational fear of CSS in order to change it?

This can be changed right now. It has nothing to do with css. It’s a tagline that you can edit. => Dashboard => Options
type and new tagline or delete the one there and leave it blank and then click “Update Options”. :)

Hi, I’m using the K2-liteTheme and would like to remove the tabs that show up when I add pages to it. I like the pages shown on the right hand side. Is there an easy way to remove the tabs?
Thanks for your help.

Are you experienced with css editing and have you purchased the css upgrade? You need to answer these questions and also post a link to your blog so you can get a response from the css gurus. -

You will notice we have the tabs for all the pages in the header as well as on the side. I would just like to keep it on the side. Would like to remove the tabs. Help!

Try this:
In your CSS Stylesheet Editor add the following rule to the definition of the ul.menu selector like this:
ul.menu { display: none; }Make sure that the ‘add to existing css’ radio button is checked. Save.
