Specific portuguese character not working properly

  Hi,
  I have a wordpress blog here: http://volutabro.wordpress.com/

  I am having issues with a specific portuguese character (that I noted). You see, it displays fine in the blog front page and in the posts pages, however when I try to add a link to a word containing the special character í it doesn’t work properly. See a search based in it here: http://volutabro.wordpress.com/?s=not%EF%BF%BDcias

  When editing a post that contains this character it displays as this: �

  My blog is set to UTF-8 encoding and all other special characters seems to work fine except for í.

  try sending your problem to feedback. at least it’s a sure thing your problem will be read by the staff, but you might have to wait a few days for a reply.

  Agreed. That’s a backend issue that we can’t resolve for you here in the orums. Please add in a link to this thread so that staff is aware that we have discussed it.
