Specific questions regarding theme capabilities

How do I find out how expansive a particular theme is w/o actually launching it as a blog? For example, do they all support social media buttons, archive, tags, search bar, recent posts, audio and video files, sticky posts, a static page, and how many categories across the top of the blog. If these features aren’t in the demo, how does one know prior to choosing a theme?

All themes support custom menus and of there is no horizontal menu in a theme then a custom menu widget is used.

If the features are not listed in the right-hand column of features on the theme description page then they don’t exist in that theme.
