Speed of Website

I have a WordPress managed site hosted by Go Daddy and I am worried about my site speed. I ran speed tests on the website but it shows that the speed is good, however my own testing of loading the website on multiple devices and multiple internet connections – the results are slow. I have spoken to Go Daddy to find out if this is a hosting issue and they see nothing on their end that would slow things down. I also flushed the cache setting for the GoDaddy hosting and that has not changed the speed.
Our website is willowstreetpictures.com and it is image focused. All the images in our galleries are at a low resolution of 72 dpi and are about 500KB – 800KB each.
We’ve only noticed recently how sluggish the website is running and have never had speed problems previously.
Are there any solutions that could speed things up?
