Speedy Recovery of a Loaded Subdomain

    Please help me recover this sub domain which have just lost as an result of an error and it has my Arabic content on it. This seems to be an act of piracy by people who have been haunting my site waiting for an appropriate moment to snatch something. I should not have deleted the expired registration of this sub domain because I am entitled to a free domain on my business plan for sudanunion.com. Could you please undo what I did and treat it as an unintentional error? Otherwise I will lose work that took me years to do. As you can see sudanuniondottv.com expired only 10 days ago and now it is gone! I am pretty sure nobody would have snatched this sub domain this fast unless they are paid sharks. Can you simply go to my dashboard area and undo what I did? Thanks.

    The domain, sudanunion.com, is not registered with WordPress.com, but with publicdomainregistry.com. It is also not hosted with WordPress.com, but with ipage.com. We have no control over, and no access to that domain.

    The domain, sudanuniondottv.com, which you didn’t mention in the other thread, was cancelled on 21 August. According to our logs, your account cancelled it.

    If you still want that domain I can write to our registrar to try and get it back, but once it is back you’ll need to pay for renewal immediately. At the moment the domain is still in a Hold status with the registrar which means you can renew it at the regular cost. If you wait more than two days more the domain will go into redemption, at which point our registrar will charge an additional $80 fee to restore the domain. It’s not possible for us to waive that fee or to grant an extension on the dates, as our registrar controls that.

    The free domain in your Business Plan is already being used for the domain, wwwsudanunion.com. As stated above, sudanunion.com is neither registered nor hosted with us.
