    Hey misfit,
    Can you post the complete url starting with http:// of your wordpress.COM blog so we can be sure to try and get you the appropriate help?
    Thanks

    By the way I take it that you may be referring to this blog > http://misfit120.wordpress.com I that the blog in question or not?

    I also use afterthedealine but did your know that most browsers also have spelling checkers. I use Firefox 3.6.15 and I recommend it. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

    Also please do not create duplicate threads as it causes confusion and an overlapping of Volunteers hopping from thread to thread and providing duplication of answers. :) The average turn around time for getting answers to support questions on any blogging support forum is 12 – 24 hours. :)

    OOPS! I see you posted above me. When servers cannot be reached there is nothing we can do but wait until the server load is lighter and the connections can be made. During these times we can use the spellcheckers on our browsers.

    Hope this helps. :)

    TT….thanks for the help. The blog is at that URL you listed…it is in draft form for tomorrow (Mazda) but still no luck. Anyhow, I use the built in spell check after I’ve written a blog and have never encountered that msg before. Not sure how to use another spell check on my scribblings after I’m done as all of my blogs are created in WordPress. Perhaps is is an overload but seems strange that it’s never happened before.

    I have had the same afterthedeadline error message occur on several occasions. I knew Staff were diligently working to rectify the server connection issue behind the scenes, so while waiting patiently for service to be restored I used my spellchecker on my browser. :)

    My spell check problem was resloved and it now is functioning. Thanks to all who helped and to WordPress techs.

    @misfit120
    I cheered loud and long when afterthedeadline started working again. You’re welcome. :)
