Spell checking in WordPress editor – grayed out text

  The WP post editor grays out each paragraph of text until i click to select it, at which point my spell checker works (chrome spell check and Grammarly)

  Its super annoying to have to click on every paragraph. Is there a solution to this?

  Hi there,

  This may be because you have Spotlight Mode enabled on the block editor.

  If you go into your WordPress Editor and click on the three dots on the top-right corner of the page, you might see an option for Spotlight mode.

  Unchecking this option will make it so that the non-selected paragraphs aren’t grayed out by default.
