spellcheck change in behavior

Spellchecking new posts has been working fine for me up until the last week or so. Now when I click on a wrongly spelled word and choose one of the offered corrections from the popup list, the correction is made but the edit pane scrolls to the top of the post. That is, each time I correct a word in a long post, the edit pane jumps to the top of the post and I have to scroll back down to where I was to find the next spelling error. This is new behavior and makes using the spellcheck feature impractical on a lengthy post.
Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? I’m using Firefox and haven’t changed anything in my environment.

I am having the same problems with spellcheck going back to the top of the post after checking each word. I’m also on firefox.

Strange. Anyone else seeing this behavior because I am not seeing this with Firefox.

Spellchecker has always jumped to the top of my posts-it’s never been any other way for me. (I joined July 3rd).

Best bet would be to send an email to support @ wordpress.com and be very specific in your detail because they don’t want to read a thread, so imagine you are starting from stratch. We can’t think of anything and without backend access, staff will be the ones to answer this one I think abrianna!
