Hello I am having problems with people receiving blank emails that I have not sent. I spoke with GoDaddy who host my emails and they told me I should contact you since you host my website and the problem seems to come from here. They said I’m being spoofed and I should speak with you about an SPF record. Please advise.

I’m sorry to hear of the trouble you’re having with the blank emails.
The exact SPF record that we need to add will depend on GoDaddy. I was able to find the following value through their support documentation:
v=spf1 a mx include:secureserver.net ~all
Would you be able to confirm with GoDaddy’s support team that that’s correct?
If you get the go ahead, you can then add the SPF record via the My Domains page in WordPress.com:
https://wordpress.com/my-domains/
From here, select ‘Edit’ next to your domain and then ‘Edit DNS’ from the resulting window. Select the ‘TXT’ option from the dropdown beneath ‘Add New DNS Record,’ the record can then be pasted in the last field here. ‘Add’ and then ‘Save Changes’ to complete the process. :)

Hi there, so yes that was the correct spf for Godaddy I confirmed as well as followed the instructions you provided for copying and pasting it into the DNS record. However I am still receiving this failure notice when i send emails. Please advise.

Please check with GoDaddy to determine why you are getting that failure notice when you send emails. WordPress.com only controls the DNS records for your domain — since GoDaddy is your email provider they can help diagnose the problem and determine what steps to take next.
If GoDaddy lets you know that there’s a problem with your domain’s DNS records, please let us know the correct records for your domain and I’d be happy to help you update them on this end.
