SPF Records are not working

    My SPF Records on my custom domain are not working. There is still vast amounts of spam being spoofed with my domain details.

    I have used an SPF checking tool and it says my domain does not have a valid SPF record, however if I use the validator for the exact text that is in my DNS it says that SPF record is valid (I use Google Apps, so it was copied and pasted from Google Apps support).

    I followed the instructions here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/ and entered

    TXT v= etc

    In my DNS. Is that not correct?

    I was reading somewhere else that it might need to be TXT “v= etc” but that doesn’t work because it escapes the ” when the DNS record is saved.

    How do I get my SPF records to work?

    I’ve just checked and your TXT record seems to correct now. Keep in mind that changes to DNS records may take up to 48-72 hours to propagate throughout the Internet.
