Spiel theme is cropping my 16:9 Featured Images

    I am using the Spiel theme for my new website. All of the source images for my posts are 16:9 images however the theme seems to be cropping them to 3:2 format. I cannot find a way to change the aspect ratio, either globally or just in the post template. It looks as though it’s fixed for all featured images across the theme and I can’t find a way to change it or override it.

    If anyone is able to help me resolve the issue that would be great! :)

    Hey mytechgearNZ

    That’s just the default, you can certainly change it.

    -Inside site editor, click templates and select the ‘Spiel’ template
    -click the 3 dot icon on a page with a featured image that needs editing
    -click the featured image block inside the block editor, and choose the styles menu
    -The aspect ratio can be manually set to Wide (16:9) in here.
