Splendido theme display problem with safari 5.1.5
-
Hello,
In the splendido theme, the blue/orange search bar (with the optional twitter link) is supposed to be in the upper right hand corner. However, it is not the case with safari (at least with safari 5.1.5). I tried on an iPad and the bar is displayed properly. It also works with Firefox.
I know there’s a way to fix this by lowering the size of the font but you would need to purchase the “custom design upgrade”, right? Is there any other way?
Thanks for your help and suggestion

No you don’t have to purchase a CSS uopgrade simply to have the theme display correctly in Safari. This thread has been flagged for a Themes Team Staff response.

Hi @painperdupumpkinretrouvee,
It appears that you changed the theme for painpumpkin.wordpress.com to the default Twenty Eleven. Unfortunately it won’t be possible for us to investigate the issue without seeing the problem in action. Can you please revert back to the Splendido theme if you’d like for us to take a look?
Thanks

In Safari 5.1.7 on my MacBook Pro, I’m seeing the search box and the twitter/feed/facebook blocks in the upper right exactly where I see them in Firefox 12.0.

Thanks thesacredpath. Guess I should update my safari…
Here’s a capture of http://splendiodemo.wordpress.com/ with safari 5.1.5
http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/1148/splendiosafari515.jpgI don’t know if the problem occurs in previous versions of Safari.
@jkudish If you don’t mind, since the problem is the same with http://splendiodemo.wordpress.com/ and since you can see it on my capture, I will go back to trying out different themes in the next few hours and days, before settling to splendio (or another one)
Let me know if I can help. I think I will switch to the latest version of safari tomorrow.
