Comments won’t show if I reply directly to a thread

I cleared my cache before I came here!!!!! I have NEVER gone into spam on a site I visit regularly!!!! NOW!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! WORD PRESS………is killing me! wqth is the site i go to as spam as well!!!! Help get me outa there!!!! Please!!!

Hello, I am having the same (or worse!) problems as churchmouse, on the same WP forum, and so are at least 7 or 8 others that we know of so far.
Every post goes into the spam bin, and we have to wait for the site owner / administrator to get us out of the spam bin.
For me, this has happened periodically over the past year, and started up again a couple days ago, and is still happening as of right now.
The only place where I have been able to post is on the WQTH test thread, which we use to test links, to test whether a gif or jpg shows up properly, etc.:

Hi @realmarica, I can confirm this comment was marked as spam in fact. Yours was too, @scott467.
And since the OP of the last thread had their issue wrapped up, I’ve created a new thread with your comments.
Would you each link to a few posts where you’ve left comments that were marked as spam? We can check on those for you.

I tried posting in the Brexit thread AGAIN, and two consecutive posts went directly to the spam bin:

Comment moderation is entirely up to the site’s owner, we cannot interfere on that.
If you feel that Akismet is catching you as spam, you can inquire at https://akismet.com/contact/
Please keep in mind though that the site owner may simply be holding comments for approval.

Hi, the site owner is as frustrated as we are (probably more so!). All of us who are being blocked are longtime posters at the site owner’s forum.
It was the site owner (Wolfmoon1776) who directed me to THIS discussion, and here is a recent post of his from another “Help!” thread to WP staff (link to follow quote):

Interestingly, that commenter’s problems just ceased after contacting WordPress Support. Hence, I have encouraged other commenters to respond to that thread, but I will now point them to this one as well.
Spam-binning of long-time posters has become a significant problem on our site, and is leading to demoralization of the affected posters. Many mistakenly think they are being blocked.
Any possible tools to simply bypass the binning of long-time posters who have been declared to be “not spam” literally dozens of times would be welcome.
