Split: General trouble with wordpress site

My Word Press site only allows me to load one chapter then an earlier one disappears. I am trying to help newly appointed engineers to transition to management and need to show each new chapter as well as the earlier ones. I have contacted Word Press support three times and they have responded but I don’t understand what they tell me to do. I would appreciate help in simple terms that would show me how to convert my current blog into one that shows every chapter so that newcomers to the site can read everything that I have posted. Thank you.

  • Hi there,

Please don’t post into unrelated threads created by other users, as that makes it harder for us to help both you and the person who created the thread. I’ve moved your post to your own thread.

Also note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

My Word Press site only allows me to load one chapter then an earlier one disappears.

Are you speaking of http://ethreec.wordpress.com/? I don’t see anything on that site referred to as chapters, but I do see an Articles page that’s displaying the blog posts on your site at https://automotiveengineering.management/blog/

All posts you publish on a site go into that main posts feed, with the most recent post always appearing at the top, and older posts loading below that.

You can also click on a post title to view the single post on its own page, for example, https://automotiveengineering.management/2022/01/17/budgeting-2/. Is that perhaps what you’re speaking of where the earlier chapter disappears, in other words, if you’re on that page you don’t see the earlier article?

If so, that’s expected, as on that particular link you’re looking at only a single post, not the entire feed. But if you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see links to the posts that were published before and after the one you’re currently viewing. And if you click on Articles in the menu, that takes you back to the main feed that lists all the posts ever published on your site.

Does that help clarify things? If I’m misunderstanding, please let me know and give some more details, like the specific link of the chapter you’re looking at, and I can take a closer look.
