Split Post With More Tag?

Ok I have a problem >.< I know what the split post with more tag is, but when I use it my right column moves down into the middle column.
Here are some screen caps of what I’m talking about >.<
can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong?

It’s probably due to the fact that you insert the more tag after formatting your post, so that it breaks the code. Try inserting the more tag before formatting your text, or, if you want to add the more tag after formatting, then take care to close all div tags above the more tag and re-open them below it. (Not sure whether I was able to explain properly what I mean…)

Although different than the above, I too am having a issue with the ‘post with More tag’. When I place it in within the editor (visual mode), I see it. However when published / saved, it’s missing. Any advise out there?

The more tag shows up only on the main blog page (depending on the theme it will be a link called (more…) or continue reading » or similar)

isadora, I followed your advise for inserting the More tag before formatting, but still had no luck. Thanks for trying. I’ll stay close for any updates.

jebrownis, my answer for you is just below your question. These are two completely different questions, and this example shows why we usually advice people not to hijack other people’s threads.
