Split Posts, "More" and Tagging Problems

I was directed to the split/more button while I am writing my post.
The split shows up in my working screen, but does not transfer onto my blog.
???Also, tags are not appearing with the blog, and did not appear in the Tag Cloud.
I typed them into the tag “box” on the screen where I created my post; I could see no place there to signify ‘accept’ or ‘done’ or anything, and so my assumption is that when I hit the button to post to my blog they should be sent along with the type/media of the entry.
But they didn’t show up on the blog.

The split didn’t show up on the preview screen, but it IS THERE in my blog!Some help re tagging would still be appreciated.

BUT …
1. can I not insert footnotes?
2. how do I change the size of the font?
3. how do I control line spacing (it is automatically inserting double spaces where I need singles)Thanks again.

Yes, the more tag will only show up in the main posts, categories and archives pages, not in the single post pages, which is what you see when you use the “preview post” button in the editor.
In your latest post, on the site main page, I’m seeing this at the bottom of the post:
” tags: Religion and Spirituality, Theodicy, Trinity” so your tags are getting set, and I’m also seeing tags in your tag cloud.
Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.
Also remember that the sidebars are cached and it could take a few minutes to as much as a half-hour for them to update.
