Split: The account has been compromised

  Hello,
  The same thing has happened to me.
  Last night I had first my Instagram account closed for inappropriate behaviour, then my Facebook account also closed.
  When I tried to access WordPress to leave a message on my site about issues with my social media accounts, I got a message saying the account I was trying to access does not exist. Thus I can not work on my site.
  My website is still live and I have managed to leave a message on the translated version of my site, which is done via a different site that has not yet been affected.
  I have also got a number of email from different sites saying my password has been asked to change, which was not my doing. And somewhere I have also seen the Russian connection.
  I have created a new account on wordpress with the same email address to be able to write this.
  Can you please let me know what can I do to recover access to my site myukprivatetours.com?

  Your site myukprivatetours.com, which is up and running, is connected to your account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/users/myukprivatetours/ which is also up and running.
  2 accounts on wordpress.com can’t have the same email address as the email address is the unique identifier.

  I have just explained. This is happening. I created a second account with the same addresss. I CANNNOT ACCES MY WEBSITE WITH THE NEW ADDRESS.
  myukprivatetours.com is not accessible by me
  check your records. an account with this email has been created in the last 20 minutes or so. I can not acces my website.

  there must be two accounts with the same address. The oldest is compromised

  I have clicked on the link you sent me above, my picture is in there but when i try to access me website it says there is no site linked to it.

  Hello Bruce, I’ve moved your topic to its own forum thread. Just for general knowledge for the future, Staff and volunteers can better assist you if you start your own thread either through the contact us link in your WPcom dashboard or at the top of the community forums rather than posting into someone else’s forum thread.

  As @staartmees mentioned, you need to completely log out of this account you have created to post to the forums and then log back in with the account that is associated with your above website. myukprivatetours

  If you can’t remember the password for that account, you’ll need to try and recover the account through the account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Once you are logged in with the correct WPcom account, since it also looks like you have an upgrade plan on your myukprivatetours.com site, you’ll also have access to direct support via LiveChat when available or email support.

  Let us know how that goes.
