Splitting blogs into sections

  I’d like to create sections so I can separate my blogs into different groups.

  Is this possible with a non-premium theme?

  That’s what categories and tags do.

  Is there a way of having these categories appear on the homepage to make them more accessible?

  Use a custom menu so that the categories will appear in your navigation bar.
