  I write both poems and stories and I want to split the two without having to have another blog.

  I would like to have the stories all together and the same with the poetry. I have no idea how.

  You can create two categories named “poems” and “stories” and assign them to respective posts. You will find more info about categories here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

  You can then create category pages by following the instructions in this support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/ This will result in all your poems appear on a page named Poems and stories on Stories page.

  Try these steps and let me know if something is not clear.
