Splitting one blog into two blogs

I am new to blogging and I have read where it is advisable to be focused in your content and not be too varied in the kinds of issues that are dealt with. I have another interest that I do not consider to be compatible with the focus of the blog that I started but I would like to write on these issues under a separate identity if possible, using the same blog, without each audience seeing the content of the other. Is that possible and can I do this using the facility of multiple users and if so what are the constraints if any?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will need to have two separate blogs if you do not want the audience of one to see, or be aware that you are the author, of the other.

Set up a second account with an new username (you will need a second email address as they have to be unique) and then you can blog on both accounts separately.

Thanks. I was hoping that it was possible without having to create another blog. I was not really worried about persons knowing that I was the author, I just wanted each visitor to have their own unique experience. Thanks again.

If using the same name is fine, then just make a new blog using the same account (much easier to keep track of by the way) and then put your Posts in the correct blog.

Do I have to go back to the wordpress site to do this, or can it be done from the existing blog?

When logged in at WordPress.COM (like you are when you Posted here or are logged in to view your blog Dashboard (same thing actually)) – at the top of the page – Gray Bar >> My Blogs >> Register a new Blog >> and follow the prompts like you did when you created your first blog.

    Good luck
