Spoiler without “more” tag

I’m debating which blog hosting service I want to go with, and while I like what WordPress.com has to offer, one thing I can’t seem to find here is a good “spoiler tag” option. Yes, I know I can use the “more text” tag as an option, but I don’t like it and think it’s ugly and inelegant. What I want is something like “simple spoiler” like shown on this page (scroll down for English): http://liberitas.com/2006/04/18/mi-plugin-simple-spoiler-enhanced/

Click to expand, click to hide again. Simple and elegant. Even basic forums have this feature.

Of course, you can’t add plugins on WordPress.com, only wordpress.org. Is there a way to have a feature like this on wordpress.com?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Buy a domain name, hire a web host, install the software from wordpress.ORG, configure it and the upload plugins to your heart’s content. Figure on $7 to $50 per month depending on storage and bandwidth requirements.

It cannot be done here at wordpress.COM because we cannot use plugins here. Plugins are for the self-hosted version of wordpress.

I’m having a bit of a brain tingle here…seem to remember about being able to do something similar with CSS, but for that you would have to purchase the CSS upgrade and understand what you are doing because it comes without any official support.
