  We never agreed to sponsored advertising appearing in our Post page. How can I remove sponsored advertising

  As part of its efforts to keep costs free or down for users, WordPress.com displays ads, including the WordPress.com promotional banner, on free and starter sites.

  To eliminate ads on your website, You can upgrade to WordPress.com Personal plan or you can either stay on the Free plan or choose to purchase the No Ads Add-on from Tools → Marketing.
