  Hi there, WordPress.com shows ads on free website to offset the cost of hosting. Currently there are two ways you can remove ads from your free WordPress.com website:
  1. The first is to upgrade to any paid plan, including Personal. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  2. The second is to purchase the no-ads add-on, which you can find in your site’s dashboard under Upgrades>Add-Ons

  Having said that, if you think a specific ad is inappropriate, please take a screenshot of the ad, and send that, along with the URL the ad links to, via the form at https://wordpress.com/support/about-these-ads/. Then the ads team can review the ad, and follow up with Outbrain if needed.
