  This isn’t a problem, I just wanted a clarification on the rules for wordpress.com. A company has asked if I would write a blog post for them. I will receive free product, but not compensation. Is this allowed? If I were being compensated would that be allowed?

  We do not allow sponsored posts on WordPress.com. However, if your post is being published on a site that is not hosted by WordPress.com, we have no control over that so go ahead!
