Spotify Embed Will Not Work/Broken

    Hi. I am using a free WordPress.com plan and can no longer embed Spotify songs/albums/playlists in the block editor. Whenever I try to embed a Spotify song/album/playlist via the WordPress Spotify embed button, via copying and pasting the link, or directly via the custom HTML option, I get the embed starting to load before giving me a message stating ‘Sorry, this content could not be embedded.’ I have tried everything from modifying the embed code to modifying the Spotify link to using Spotify’s ‘copy Spotify URI’ option instead of their ‘copy [song/album/playlist] link’ option to using Spotify’s ‘copy embed code’ option to going online and using Spotify’s custom embed generator and using that code instead (which, by the way, is the same code as when you use Spotify’s ‘copy embed code’ option). I’ve tried multiple songs/albums/playlists and this issue occurs every time. I’ve also tried using different browsers and the problem pops up across the board. I’ve even searched the forum and tried tips like making sure the Spotify URL isn’t hyperlinked (it wasn’t). Nothing—and I truly mean NOTHING—works. The issue has persisted for about 1.5 – 2 weeks straight, so at this point I don’t think it’s just a little kink that needed a tiny bit of time to straighten itself out. As a possibly related note: weirdly enough, I am still able to embed Spotify podcast episodes. If anyone knows what the issue is/how to resolve the issue or knows who to contact at WordPress support, I would greatly appreciate them letting me know!

    Can you share the links to Spotify playlists and audios that you are not able to embed? I can try and see if I can reproduce the issue you are having.
