  Does the new Spotify Play Button work for WordPress.com websites? Meaning, can I embed a Spotify playlist onto my website through a text widget?

  No, that code is an iframe and you cannot use iframes here at wordpress.COM.

  The Spotify Play Button does work on WordPress.com sites.

  I’ve been having a little trouble with Spotify playlists breaking, but it works nicely for the most part.
