Spun theme: why don't the photos show up?

  Hi there. I am using the very pretty Spun theme by the Caroline Moore. I’ve made three blog posts so far. The first one worked out fine as the image I used has come up as the thumbnail image. However for the other two posts they text has come up rather than a photo. I’ve spent ages trying to work out why this is, but I just can’t. I really like the theme and I don’t want to change it, but I guess that’s my last resort. Can anyone advise?
