Square Crop Leaving Unwanted Border

Hi,
I’m trying to crop images in the Media library –> Edit –> Crop and using the “Square” option. When I do this, my image saves with an unwanted black border on the bottom edge. If I use the freeform cropping tool, this does not happen. How can I use the Square option so that it doesn’t leave a border on the bottom?Additionally, if I edit and image in the Media library does it automatically update it in the post in which its used?

I had a look at your media library, but I do not see any image with a black border. Have you already removed it from there? If you still see it, could you share a link to the image or a screenshot of what you see on your end?
You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply.if I edit and image in the Media library does it automatically update it in the post in which its used?
No, if you edit the image in the media library, a copy will be saved there. You will then have to change the image used in the post.

Hi! Would you be willing to let us attempt to crop the image on your account?
I suspect that, depending on the image, the bounding box for the crop might be extending just barely past the bottom of the image. If you shrink that just a bit to ensure it’s not going past any of the image edges, do you see the black line still?
