Squarespace DNS Nameserver Issues

I need to point blankpageconsulting.com to https://danni-eickenhorst.squarespace.com. I have logged in to change my nameservers, but can’t seem to make changes, let alone what’s required. When I try to unlock, I get an error. When I click on DNS Nameservers, I get the error “The zone file is temporarily unavailable. If this problem continues, please contact customer support.”

Changing your domain’s DNS can be tricky, so I went ahead and pointed your domain blankpageconsulting.com to Squarespace for you. Please note that it can take 48-72 hours for these domain changes to take full effect.
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to add this domain to your Squarespace account in the Site Manager there. Please let me know if I can help with anything else!

You certainly can. Each of the blogs in your WordPress.com account is separate, so you can take one blog down and it won’t affect the others.
If you want to make a WordPress.com blog private, so it can’t be seen by visitors or search engines, you can do that under Settings > Reading in your dashboard. We have instructions for changing the privacy settings here: Privacy Settings
If you want to permanently delete your blog, you can follow these instructions: Delete Site
However, please read the warnings carefully. Once a blog is deleted, it can’t be restored and the blog address can’t be used again in the future (by you or anyone else). If you aren’t sure, I recommend just setting the blog to private.
