SquareSpace site/Word Press hosting

  So I transferred my blog teacupsandbcups.com to SquareSpace, but was still hosting through WordPress. That expired and now teacupsandbcups.com is still a SquareSpace site, but it has formatting issues and some weird links at the bottom. Do I have to sign up for the Premium Upgrade to fix this? I thought that domains were just $14/year through WordPress.

  The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

  I doubt that buying the $99.-/yr package would help unless you plan on moving back to WordPress.COM – but domain mapping to do that is $13.-/yr

  This appears to be the result of the expiration of your domain name teacupsandbcups.com. Unfortunately, we no longer control the domain teacupsandbcups.com and cannot renew it for you.

  We attempted to inform you of your domain’s expiration (via email and dashboard notices). It was possible to recover the domain for some weeks after its expiration, but because of the time lapsed, the domain was sent back to the registrar, who then sold it to a new owner. Here is the publicly available contact information of the new domain owner:

  You could try contacting them to see if they will sell the domain to you. Please be sure to use a reputable, online purchasing site for this transaction, if it happens.
