Hi there – did you already export an XML file following the Squarespace instructions here?
http://help.squarespace.com/customer/portal/articles/724556-can-i-export-my-site-
Once you’ve done the export, on your WordPress site, under Tools > Import, try importing your Squarespace XML file using the Moveable Type/Typepad option.
If you have any trouble with the import, just let me know.

Hi, yes..
I exported my xml file and then I chose import Moveable Type/Typepad option.
One thing it says “Below, you can see the names of the authors of the MovableType posts in italics. For each of these names, select one of the blog’s users as the author.” But I don’t see that, I just see my wordpress username isoldeormarion.
I chose that, but nothing happened.
I got an email saying import was susccessful but I don’t see my posts.
The blog I’m trying to import to is

Hi Luisa, I’m going to send you an email so you can attach your export file. Once I have it I’ll do some tests. Thanks!

Nops. If you sent it three hours ago, I didn’t get it. I’ve checked. My main email is the one I use to log in to wordpress.
Not in spam either. I am getting these notifications though. -
OK, let’s try this – could you please send an email with the XML file attached to support AT wordpress DOT com and put “For Kathryn” in the subject line? You can also provide a link to this forum thread in the message itself. Thanks!

I imported your content using the WordPress import method, and it looks like it was successful.
Some of your image paths were still pointing to Squarespace, but I think I found and fixed them all. If you spot any still pointing to Squarespace, you can click the image to edit it, click the Advanced tab, and then replace the image path in the source field, so it’s pointing to the image in your media library. Or, just let me know where they are and I’d be glad to help.
Happy blogging and welcome to WordPress.com!
