We cannot use plugins on WordPress.COM. Though you have the domain mapping upgrade, your site is still hosted here.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgradingDid you know that there are different kinds of WordPress?

Also, please read this post by fellow volunteer timethief about how to increase blog traffic:

As Tess has rightly said, plugins are for WordPress.org and not .COM.
What I would say is to focus on writing high quality articles, and include your target keywords naturally in those posts and you’ll see more traffic to your blog over time.
SEO plugins are not necessary to generate traffic – your awesome content can do that. :)

That is exactly what timethief says in the post I linked to above. She knows her stuff! and it’s good advice for anyone who blogs.

Hey Mariela,
The mods are right and the tutorial they sent you is amazing :) It’s a good step by step guide, that I hope you will follow.
Soon we will have a web version at Squirrly, and you’ll be able to optimize your content for both Humans (by learning how they speak about different subjects, what there expectations are if they click your article in a search engine listing, etc.) and Search Engines (following the guidelines from Google regarding creating great content, which they officialy promote).
The new Squirrly makes your job as a content marketer easier, because as timethief said in her tutorial, it takes some pretty hard work.
Best regards,
Florin, CEO of Squirrly
